Xankəndi Stadium is an important sports venue located in the Karabakh region, which for many years hosted regional football matches and sporting events. Built during the Soviet era, the stadium has a seating capacity of approximately 9,171, making it one of the symbolic elements of the region's sports infrastructure.

The statement "Karabakh is Azerbaijan!" by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, represents not only a political stance but also a strong vision for the reconstruction and revitalization of Karabakh's social, cultural, and sporting life. 

In line with this vision, comprehensive renovation and modernization works are currently ongoing at Xankəndi Stadium.
