Ganja Stadium (Azerbaijani: Gəncə Şəhər Stadionu) is a multi-purpose football stadium located in Ganja, the second-largest city in Azerbaijan. It is the home ground of the city's long-established football club, Kəpəz PFK, and is one of the largest sports facilities in the region. The stadium serves as a major venue for both local league matches and various other sporting events.

Turnstile & Elektronic Ticketing System

Located in the city of Ganja, the newly modernized Ganja City Stadium required a secure and fully digital access‑management infrastructure for major sports events.

To ensure fast, reliable, and international-standard operations, idCodeX Technology Solutions was selected as the technology provider.

Integrated CCTV, Network, and End-to-End Project Management

CCTV System:

The idCodeX CCTV architecture designed for Ganja Stadium aims for high security and uninterrupted operation. The system includes 273 2MP fixed cameras, 107 4MP high-resolution cameras, and 17 25x optical zoom movable (PTZ) cameras for wide-area surveillance. The central monitoring infrastructure is supported by 32 43" UHD monitors, while recording and archiving needs are configured with 7 64-channel 8K NVRs to provide high capacity and redundancy. The entire product range, including cameras, NVRs, monitoring, and network components, was chosen from the Hikvision brand due to its reliability and performance.

Network Infrastructure:

For stable and high-performance operation of the CCTV system, the network infrastructure utilizes 20 24-port PoE switches to provide power and data transmission to IP cameras over a single line. At the backbone level, 20 28-port aggregation switches provide high bandwidth and centralized traffic management. Additionally, 9 8-port PoE switches are positioned for site flexibility and critical point distribution. The entire network architecture is configured according to idCodeX standards, prioritizing scalability and redundancy.

Customs Clearance and Logistics:

All material procurement, international customs clearance, and transportation processes within the project scope were managed and coordinated by idCodeX from manufacturer to site delivery. Planning, documentation, shipment tracking, and site handover processes are all managed by idCodeX, ensuring regulatory compliance, on-time delivery, and minimizing operational risks.

Electrical Infrastructure & Power Systems 

for Ganja Stadium, idCodeX Technology Solutions delivered a comprehensive electrical infrastructure and power systems scope, ensuring uninterrupted, safe, and standards-compliant stadium operations. All critical components were supplied and managed through an end-to-end, single-point-of-responsibility approach, including logistics and customs clearance.

To ensure uninterrupted match-day operations (broadcasting, lighting, security, scoreboard/LED screens, access control, and ticketing systems), high-capacity backup generator systems were engineered and integrated.

  • Fire-resistant, low-smoke zero-halogen (LSZH) solutions

  • Mechanical protection suitable for outdoor and underground installations
    All works followed project-specific routing and labeling standards.

Lighting Systems – Performance and Comfort

High-efficiency lighting systems were provided for stands, pitch surroundings, circulation areas, and technical rooms.
